Okay I bought the cheaper opened box, because I figured no one would sell me bad diapers. The box was the shipping box so any distress came from my husband bringing it home (we can’t have things shipped a to our house). The box may have been opened but it was taped back closed. The diapers inside had not been opened and were still in their plastic bags.
Now the diaper itself. It feels thinner than the Pampers Baby Dry that I bought at our local grocery store. I have two photos comparing the Pampers Baby Dry from the store, to Huggies and these Pampers Swaddlers bought off Amazon. The store bought Pampers do not have the wetness indicator but they do have Sesame Street characters. My kid is 1, he does not care about Sesame St. Since I use the Baby Dry for nighttime, the lack of a wetness indicator is not a deal breaker. The Swaddlers from Amazon are way thinner than the Baby Dry, but they have a wetness indicator and they have this interior liner that I really like. You can see the difference between the two in the photograph. The Swaddlers don’t have any trademarked characters. I did manage to find some Swaddlers I bought from the grocery store that were at the bottom of my diaper bag and those have Sesame St characters. They also feel a smidge thicker than the ones off Amazon, but that could be because the ones from Amazon are fresh out of the box being smooshed against other diapers as opposed to a diaper that has been beat up a little over a month in a diaper bag. If having those characters are important to you then know these diapers don’t have Big Bird.
These are more expensive than Huggies, and both versions of Pampers are a little bigger than Huggies. Apparently my baby has a big butt and I cannot lie. Pampers fit over his big old butt better than the Huggies. These are all size 5 as he’s 23 lbs, but I’ll be getting a size bigger of the Huggies because of his big bottom.
I haven’t had any experiences of blow outs, but I think that’s just luck.

So I have been purchasing all of my Pampers diapers on here for over a year now. I should have known on my last purchase when they looked different something was a-miss. The last order did not have the Sesame Street characters but instead little kitties, I thought no big deal, new marketing tactic? Then I started to really notice the difference….First off, they were visibly different in the overall size and thickness. They appeared to be much thinner and flimsy. The tabs ripped off several times. Many of the diapers had dark brownish spots under the material as if their was too much chemical or went something in production (I was too afraid to put the mystery spotty diapers on my son so I ended up throwing probably at least 8 away). They left little white pieces of material all over my sons bottom and WORST of all they gave him terrible diaper rash :(- which NEVER happens!!. After that I threw them out and ran to my local Target to get a new box of QUALITY pampers. Fast Forward to last week>>> I decided to go on amazon to check the reviews and many parents shared my same concern. I noticed when I went to place an order that their we very distinct NEW and OLD over each box, thinking they fixed the problem I was sure to order a NEW box of pampers hoping to get the standard Sesame characters I was used to but much to my disappointment (and $54 later) when the box arrived it was the same low grade diapers I had just thrown away.

Customer Questions & Answers

What size is recommended for 170 lbs?
Answer: Depends on the baby. My son is only 4 months old and he is wearing size 3. But that??s because he??s a big boy for 4 months. If they are chunky and weigh 17 pounds get a size 3. You will find your self with a tight diaper if you go with size 2 and more of a possibility for a rash.

Is this Size 1 fit for new born baby ?
Answer:

It can depending on the size of your baby at birth. Mine was a bit smaller at 5 oz 14 oz. I put him in the N (newborn) one and those fit better. After a couple weeks he moved onto the size 1. I find that generally he needs to change about 2 lbs before the upper limit of the range but every baby is different. In my expe??

item for child my soon ?
Answer: I guess you need to see how much they weigh
