Customer Questions & Answers

Is this the outdoor unit? The pictures show both the outdoor and indoor unit.
Answer: If you have access to 120v AC power outlet you??ll be able to use this unit. I purchased the 120v unit it located is my shop bathroom.

Is this unit sufficient for Tennessee climate? I’ve read somewhere that it was for warmer climate areas (Florida/Texas)
Answer: Hi S. French. I live in New England which is mixed climates: Hot/Humid summers and in winter dry/colder climates. It’s an indoor unit, which is in my basement, so I’m not sure how sensitive the climate is related to operation of the unit. If it were outside I would think it would be of more concern.

mine is a R85 renaul tankless which one will be the same plumbing?
Answer: The plumbing pipes are the same on all our units. –Tashay

Can I use the Rinnai V65EP in Denver, Co? Temperatures during the winter can get below zero.
Answer: It can definately be out doors in freezing temps, tho power failure arent good for it while in a freeze, tho keep in mind it will use alot more energy for frost protection, indoor units are safer amd more efficient in this case
